If you are anything like me, you can be lazy. It might be one of those evenings where you’re already in your house clothes and don’t feel like dressing up to go out to eat or you’re just too lazy to cook. Hey, it happens to the best of us (some more frequently than others…including myself). Thankfully, we’ve got options.
Just Eat is a Vancouver food delivery service – the largest and fastest growing online ordering service. They even have an app, so you can order ahead of time before you even get home. Nailed it. You can use their service to order food in and around Vancouver or even order takeout food. Personally, I’d probably use it for some late night delivery in Vancouver because in my area, options are fairly limited.
Please note that I was invited to try Just-Eat.ca and most of my meal was paid for, however all opinions are my own.
Using the website is super easy, choose whatever you’re in the mood for and order away. There are a couple of options, depending on what you decide to order – but the most fantastic thing is that you can order well in advance – as you can see in the pic above. The food arrived before the rest of the Gastrofork crew did.
So since the fine folks at Just-Eat was sponsoring this post, I figured that I’d invite the rest of the Gastrofork contributors over to help eat!
We ordered from Saffron Indian Cuisine – which is always delicious. I haven’t done a post on them before, but if you haven’t tried them, do give them a shot! We ordered some Vegetable Pakora ($4.95), Vegetable Biryani ($12.95), Butter Chicken ($14.95), Chicken Tikka Masala ($14.95), Dhania Gosht ($14.95), Palak Paneer ($12.95) and some naan.
There was no weak links in the food we had, all of it arrived earlier than I expected, hot and delicious.
To be honest, I’ve ordered all these dishes previously at Saffron, so I knew exactly what to order. We were so full between the seven of us. My favourite dish would be a toss up between the vegetable biryani, butter chicken and the paneer. I absolutely love Indian cuisine.
Since it is pretty rare we’re all at the same spot, we decided to do a little Q&A with some of the questions we get on a regular basis for fun – check out our video below – and don’t forget to subscribe to our channel!
